Make Money From Your Blog: 10 Ways To Add Revenue Streams To Your Blog

One of the many benefits of owning a blog is the ability to add a few revenue streams. Below you will find my favourite wordpress plugins and affiliate services that I use on this blog and my other sites that will help you earn money from your blog. The following plugins and sites all have indepth info so I’ll only give a breath overview. Be sure to backup your wordpress blog regularly to save yourself from any heartache if anything goes wrong when installing a plugin.

1. Display Google Adsense ads.

The following plug-in allows you to put your Google Adsense ads into your blog theme / posts with ease. You can even put Yahoo’s version of Adsense if that is the advertiser you prefer.

All-In-One-Adsense-And-YPN

You will need a Google Adsense account and you can get one from

www.google.com/adsense

2. Display 125 x 125 ads and monitor click-throughs.

I love the following plug-in because it allows you to add 125 x 125 banner ads into your themes sidebar. You can also monitor click-through statistics and rotate the banners to reduce banner blindness. Another cool thing is the ability to set up a date for your ad to finish and be alerted via email when the end date is near. Grab the plug-in from here.

My best converting banners may also work well for you and these are:

ViralNetworks

PPCWebSpy

FreeWebsiteBuilder

CashCrate

That’s a few you can get started with!

3. Chitika Search Targeted Advertising.

Chitika shows relevant ads to people that find your site from the search engines and only those people. You can register for your very own Chitika account here.

6. Max Blog Press DealDotCom widget.

If you look above the banners on your right you will notice a DealDotCom product displayed using a MaxBlogPress DealDotCom Deal of the Day widget. Again, the plug-in is free and can be downloaded from the Max Banner website.

You’ll need a DealDotCom affiliate Id and you can get one of these from signing up for your free account here.
