Ever wonder how all these people are gaining Guru Status on Twitter?

I recently met this guy who has been killing it on Twitter without using any mass follow or auto-follow techniques. He basically came onto the scene from nowhere and is slowly starting to make his mark. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first started hearing about the stuff he was doing.

This dude has spent over 5 months testing all this stuff… and apparently he’ s come out of the shadows to reveal his secrets to the rest of us. He just showed me a technique that he used to make a targeted list of 500 people, in under a week, with a brand new Twitter account and with only 10 minutes per day to work with!

I thought it was too good to be true, but he proved me wrong!!! Don’t believe me? Go see this video about building a targeted list on Twitter in a week. Watch the video here!

Pretty amazing, right? And Nathan is obviously not a Guru. He simply did the work that no one else wanted to do because he got sick and tired of reading bad Twitter books and watching ridiculously overhyped videos. If you’re like me, it would probably take you years to figure all this out, too.

Fortunately for us, this dude reveals all his secrets for becoming a Twitter Rockstar and learning how to dominate your niche or brand with Twitter. He debunks a lot of myths about Twitter, shows you some techniques I’m sure you’ve never heard of (this blew me away since most Gurus tell you the opposite!

Now I know why: they want you to follow them and hang on their every word.

The thing is, I doubt he will keep his course available for long. Would you?

So save yourself years of struggle, trial and error, hours and hours of testing, and a huge learning curve by checking out Twitter Rockstar today by clicking right here.

To your success,

Karl Foxley

P.S. You owe it to yourself to spend just a few minutes watching Nathan reveal his 500 targeted followers in under 7 days video. Just think what it would mean if you just did that every week! Watch it here: www.twitter-rockstar.com.

Affiliate Links On Twitter – Good or Bad?

I’m sure you’ve heard of Twitter by now, you may already be using it but if you’re not then you can register for a free account at Twitter.com.

Before we go on I’m going to unashamedly plug my Twitter profile so you can connect with me; Twitter.com/KarlFoxley.

Affiliate Links on Twitter – Good or Bad?

If you are an affiliate marketer you will have no doubt by now seen the potential of using Twitter to share your affiliate links to your followers. My question is, is this good or bad?

I have read blog posts by some Twitter users that feel that this is a misuse of Twitter. I have also read blog posts that suggest there is a particular way of promoting affiliate products on Twitter.

Is there a difference between promoting an affiliate program that I have personally purchased, used, and loved, or promoting links from a paid for advertising service such as Be A Magpie?

Twitter gives me the power to choose who I follow and unfollow, does this then suggest that how people use their Twitter accounts is down to one’s discretion?

So, are affiliate links on Twitter good or bad? I’d love to hear your views so feel free to leave a comment.

To your success,

Karl Foxley

P.s. If you are using Twitter to promote affiliate products then I recommend you read this blog post on Pro Blogger.

Do We Really Need Another Twitter System?

May 28th, 2009 Karl Foxley No comments

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ll no doubt have seen the 101 dedicated Twitter websites and applications springing up all over the place. Some are good, some are even great, but most are not worth a second look.

There are marketers all over the show creating the latest ‘Twitter system’ that will teach you how to make money on Twitter and to gain astronomical followers.

It’s up to you how you use Twitter and how you feel about following and being followed. Twitter is for everyone and my recommendation is that you find what you are comfortable with and go with it!

I would like to stress that you should seek to engage with people on Twitter, interact and be approachable, afterall you are buidling your own community. If having a huge list of followers is your thing and learning how to monetize your Twitter efforts then you need to take a look at Alvin Phang’s Twitter System.

Alvin Phang certainly knows what he is talking about and is one person who will teach you a system that works; click on the link below to find out more.

How To Discover Where To Concentrate Your Online Marketing Efforts By Comparing Popular Websites

April 20th, 2009 Karl Foxley 1 comment

In today’s post I want to share with you my quick way of discovering where to concentrate my advertising efforts. About a year ago everyone seemed to be talking about Twitter, Plurk, Jaiku etc and the question is, where do you as a marketer spend your time building your community?

alexalogo How To Discover Where To Concentrate Your Online Marketing Efforts By Comparing Popular Websites

It is foolish to even consider having the time to build communities at every popular site and then maintain them all every single day; you’d be spreading yourself very thin indeed.

What you want to do is compare the popular sites and see which ones are of most value by the amount of traffic they get. Before we go on I must stress that this is only one way of gaining information, you need to test test test.

Below you will see that I have gone to www.Alexa.com and in the boxes provided, typed in three websites that are of interest to me.

For this example I’ve compared Plurk.com, Jaiku.com and Twitter.com. Just looking at the graph you can see that 1 Twitter has a massive reach, more internet users are on Twitter than the other similar micro-blogging communities, and 2 Jaiku and Plurk are virtually level pegging.

This information would suggest that Twitter is easily the better place to concentrate your time and marketing efforts. Like I stated above, a website may be more popular but not have the sort of community that fits a ‘marketers’ needs so you will have to test and test again before you know which site is the better one for your needs.

With any site I would like to stress that you should be looking to build a community, a network, reciprocal relationships and NOT just aiming to sell your product as your success rate will be NIL!

You can use this method to compare forums to see how popular they are and blogging networks, well, you can compare any site you wish.

Dave Guindon has a very neat video series where he teaches you how to create your very own Twitter background for personal branding (you can promote your websites and affiliate promotions this way) and he shows you exactly how he finds the best people to follow and how to gain a wealth of followers. You can see my personal Twitter page at www.twitter.com/karlfoxley and you can see Dave’s at www.twitter.com/daveguindon.  To check out his video series then head-on-over to Daves Online Videos.

To your success,

Karl
